Neurofeedback or EEG - Biofeedback (NF) is a non-invasive process of learning to reinforce positive brainwave states such as those associated with higher levels of attention or focus, and mental or physical relaxation. NF is a branch of the Biofeedback (BF). The training is accomplished through the use of advanced computer assisted EEG feedback technology (e.g. Neurocybernetics instrument, see the photo to the right).When you learn to consistently produce the desired brainwave patterns the computer rewards you visually and auditory.Through repetition you learn the language of self-regulation and “well being”.
